Following a raft of new contract wins, Allan Cross, Kate Moloney, Harley Tuffin and Ben Holman have joined the growing business.
Allan joins LST as a Site Manager and is applying his expertise at Salisbury District Hospital where the team is delivering multiple refurbishment projects. He brings extensive knowledge and experience to LST having worked as a freelance Site Management Consultant and a Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Advisor.
Kate has been appointed as a Design Co-ordinator, which sees her work with specialist designers and consultants to determine projects’ scope of works, prepare programme documents and designs, and agree information flow.
Detailed, organised and persistent, Kate is using her skills across refurbishment projects at Crawley Hospital and the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
Taking his first step onto the career ladder is Harley Tuffin. Joining from school and following his brothers’ path into construction, he is working as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. As well as supporting LST’s quantity surveyors, he is currently responsible for the soft flooring element of various projects from enquiry through to delivery. Speaking about his role, he said: “There is a great team and culture at LST and I’m loving my job.”
Formerly a supervisor for demolition and structural works at another contractor, Ben has been appointed as an Assistant Site Manager. He is supporting the team at the Abbey School where LST is delivering a multi-million-pound school extension and upgrade.
He said: “I’m really enjoying my new role and working alongside professionals, learning from some of the best to become the best.”
