This project involved a substantial upgrade to a Grade II listed building. Over 240 windows were replaced to enhance both the building’s energy efficiency and its overall appearance.

In total, we refurbished 61 timber sash windows and installed secondary double glazing, while a further 185 windows were replaced entirely.

The rendered façade was renewed, and new external aluminium doors were installed.

Additional works included the replacement of roof coverings, coping stones, and rooflight windows, as well as the repair and replacement of deteriorated timber eaves and key masonry elements. These enhancements played a crucial role in preserving the architectural integrity and historic character of the school, while also improving the building’s durability and weather resistance for years to come.

All works were meticulously planned and carefully phased to ensure the school remained fully operational and safe throughout the duration of the project. By coordinating closely with the school’s management team, we were able to minimise disruption to day-to-day activities, maintaining a secure and functional environment for both staff and pupils at all times.
