LST Projects was appointed to deliver a performance venue at Ringwood School. ‘The Barn’ provides a flexible new space for the school and wider community.

Constructed on the site of an existing car park, the development involved adapting the site to provide access and egress followed by the main build, including new services, associated foul and storm drainage as well as external works.

‍

Spanning over 1,000 square metres, The Barn accommodates up to 650 people and features luxury seating, a retractable lighting rig and concert sound system.

‍

To improve its environmental  credentials, sustainable materials were used in its construction, including high-performing insulated materials, cedar cladding, beech flooring and solar panels on the roof.
