LST Projects completed the construction of the three-storey sixth form study centre on the lower ground floor with a new dining hall and kitchen facilities. The first floor comprises of six classrooms, a seminar room, office space and toilets.
The block was constructed using red brickwork and features solar panels on the roof. To link the new accommodation to the main school building we constructed a steel frame corridor, as well as an external staircase.
This was a complex build featuring a high specification mechanical and electrical design with impressive architectural features, including large areas of glazing.
The sixth form centre is in the middle of the school grounds. The use of a tower crane, solid hoardings, and careful communication between our site team and the client, ensured logistical challenges were overcome with ease.
