LST Projects was appointed to deliver a new two-storey nursery facility for Yellow Dot Nursery, forming part of a wider development in Hampshire.

Constructed using traditional building methods, the nursery was carefully designed and delivered to meet the specific needs of early years education. The scope included not only the main building but also the creation of supporting external features such as play areas, a buggy and cycle store, perimeter walling, car parking, and both soft and hard landscaping.

Despite the complexities of working within a live development site, the project was completed within just eight months, successfully handed over in April to align with the start of the new school term.

The facility now provides a safe, vibrant, and welcoming environment for young children to learn and grow, while offering a well-organised, purpose-built space for staff to deliver care and education.

Every element, from the design of the internal layout to the quality of outdoor provision, was tailored to create a nurturing and stimulating setting. The project also achieved a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating, underlining its sustainability credentials and long-term operational efficiency.

Delivered in collaboration with TKL Architects, the nursery now stands as a valuable asset to the community, offering both children and staff a modern, high-quality environment that supports development, wellbeing, and daily life.
