LST Projects successfully delivered the refurbishment of six building entrances and eight lecture theatres across the Royal Holloway, University of London campus, transforming existing spaces into modern, welcoming and functional environments.

The works focused on improving accessibility, enhancing the student and staff experience, and modernising teaching facilities to create high-quality spaces that support the University's ongoing educational requirements.

The project involved the refurbishment and modernisation of six building entrances, creating more welcoming and inviting environments for students, staff and visitors. Alongside these improvements, eight lecture theatres were upgraded to provide contemporary teaching and learning spaces, enhancing functionality, comfort and the overall user experience.

A key challenge was delivering the refurbishment works within a live university campus whilst maintaining safe access and minimising disruption to day-to-day activities.

Through careful planning and close coordination with the University, works were phased around student holiday periods wherever possible. Work areas were securely segregated from occupied spaces, with alternative entrances provided where necessary to maintain safe pedestrian access and allow university operations to continue.

The completed refurbishments have significantly enhanced the appearance and functionality of the University's facilities, providing modern lecture theatres and more welcoming building entrances.
