The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.
The idea being to get all construction sites and companies to present an image of competent management, efficiency, awareness of environmental issues and above all neighbourliness – being friendly and helpful to the ‘neighbours’ of the construction site. This becomes a positive advertisement for the industry as a whole.
The scheme involves the monitoring of registered sites, companies and suppliers, and the displaying of posters around the construction site, promoting registration with the Scheme.
As part of The Considerate Constructors Scheme, LST Projects can be proud to declare that we follow the Code of Considerate Practice and it helped us mould ourselves into the trusted provider of excellent service that we are today.
The Scheme is open to construction sites, companies and suppliers of all types and size and for every type of construction activity. As company policy, we automatically register our sites, which gives our clients peace of mind.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme holds all of their registered members to the highest standard in order to maintain the positive public image they’ve set for the UK’s construction industry.
The scheme ensures that members respect the community and have the highest degree of consideration to their impact on neighbours and the public, and attain the highest levels of safety performance and that members value their workforce, maintaining a supportive and caring working environment.
