As a business that operates extensively across the healthcare sector, our current projects include essential work for the NHS in Southampton, including the installation of protective structures to help in the fight against Covid-19.
Across all sectors, our business development activity remains strong and we are encouraged by the number of enquiries we are receiving from existing and new clients for the delivery of new schemes.
We welcome the government’s support for the construction industry as highlighted by an open letter from Alok Sharma, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. In this correspondence, Mr Sharma paid tribute to construction firms for working tirelessly during these challenging times and thanked them for making a“hugely valued and critical contribution to the resilience of our Nation.”
He also acknowledged that many people working in construction are required to travel to work and they can continue to do so as this is consistent with the Chief Medical Officer’s advice.
In these unprecedented times, we will do all that we can to support our clients while strictly following government guidance and prioritising the health and wellbeing of our people.
