LST Projects has completed the refurbishment of the Douglas Arter Centre at Salisbury District Hospital.
LST has delivered external and internal improvements to the two-storey building, located on the outskirts of the hospital’s grounds. The entire roof has been replaced and the inside remodelled and refurbished to create modern and spacious new office areas. LST has also delivered a full fit out, including the installation of a new heating system, fire alarms, data cabling and security systems.
The upgrade has enabled the hospital’s central booking and IT departments to relocate to the new and improved building.
LST has also completed the full refurbishment of Block 4, which has become the new location for the Stoma Care department and Pre-op Assessment Unit.
LST’s Contracts Manager, Chris Taylor, said: “We have delivered several construction projects at Salisbury District Hospital so have a strong relationship with the team and a good knowledge of the site and logistical considerations.
“The Douglas Arter Centre has been completely transformed, providing high quality office accommodation and an attractive working environment.”
In 2022, LST was also appointed to deliver a new cardiac investigation suite and plaster rooms at Salisbury District Hospital which was completed earlier this year.
The project followed the success of another refurbishment which created additional space for the Maternity Assessment Unit as well as 2 Low Risk Birthing Suites at the hospital, handed over in 2021.
