The work will upgrade and improve building services at two facilities, including the outpatients centre, known as the Mary Seacole Wing, and the Fanshawe Way Wing in which the Solent GP Surgery is located.
Operating in a live hospital environment, LST will be required to carry out careful scheduling to ensure no disruption for patients and staff. The installation of M&E services will be arranged on either a daily or weekly basis and as some services will need to be shut down to allow for the work, a large generator will also be installed to retain power.
Appointed by NHS Property Services, which manages Royal South Hants Hospital, LST will be on site for seven months.
