Pupils at an independent boarding and day school in Hampshire are benefiting from improved accommodation thanks to a refurbishment delivered by LST Projects.
The project at Lord Wandsworth College has overhauled bedrooms and facilities, providing a more modern environment for pupils.
Delivered in two phases, the first saw LST reconfigure a large dormitory into three smaller bedrooms for students in the Junior House. Further enhancing the boarding accommodation, the team also refurbished a washroom and upgraded the communal corridors as well as the fire alarm system.
The project’s second phase involved the interior refurbishment of a smaller dormitory and washroom.
Leon Gardner, Contracts Manager for LST, commented: “The first phase was completed by the end of August in time for the pupils return to school in early September 2024. The smaller refurbishment was handed over shortly afterwards with measures put in place to minimise disruption for pupils, including the installation of temporary, luxury showers.
“The upgrades have significantly improved the Junior House boarding accommodation, providing a more modern environment. The smaller bedrooms together with the enhanced washrooms ensure extra comfort and privacy which should help to attract an even greater number of pupils to the school.”
