LST Projects was appointed to deliver the construction of a new secure storage facility with ancillary office space, redeveloping a site previously home to a collection of farm buildings.

Commissioned by Ruby Ocean Trading, the scheme included the construction of a large steel portal frame workshop, designed with a steep pitch to echo the form of a traditional agricultural barn. This new structure was linked to the existing building via a bespoke frameless glazed walkway, providing a modern and visually striking connection between the two elements.

Our scope of works also included extensive external cladding, the installation of specialist pumping equipment, and new drainage systems designed to mitigate a high water table. A temporary access road was constructed to maintain full operational access throughout the build.

Given that the wider site housed a high-value car collection, site security was a top priority. Additional security gates and external lighting were installed to safeguard the property during and after construction.

The client commented:
"Working with LST was a real pleasure. Every member of the LST team I had dealings with, whether in the office or on site, had a real can-do attitude."
