More than 240 windows were replaced to improve energy efficiency and the aesthetics of the building. In total, we repaired 61 timbers ash windows and installed secondary double glazing, with a further 185 windows replaced.

The rendered façade was also replaced and external aluminium doors installed.

Replacement of roof coverings, copping stones, roof light windows, repairs and replacement of timber eaves and masonry works were also completed to rejuvenate this historic secondary school.

All works were carefully phased to enable the school to operate safely throughout the project and to minimise any disruption.
