LST Projects successfully delivered the refurbishment and extension of the Chemotherapy Unit at Dorset County Hospital, creating a modern, welcoming and patient-focused environment.
The project involved extensive internal remodelling and the creation of additional treatment spaces, improving the functionality of the unit while providing a brighter, more comfortable setting for patients undergoing treatment.
A key feature of the development was the creation of a peaceful landscaped courtyard, offering patients a calming outdoor space away from the clinical environment and supporting their overall wellbeing.
Delivered within a live hospital environment, the works required careful planning, effective site logistics and close collaboration with hospital teams to maintain patient and staff safety while minimising disruption to ongoing clinical services.
The completed unit provides an enhanced treatment environment, combining improved clinical facilities with thoughtful design to create a welcoming space that places patient comfort and wellbeing at its heart.
