LST Projects successfully delivered the transformation of Vickers Hall at Bishopsgate School, converting the existing sports hall into a modern, purpose-built performing arts theatre.

The new theatre features retractable seating for up to 340 people, a comprehensive audio-visual system, specialist lighting grid and acoustic treatments, creating a versatile space for school performances, assemblies, exhibitions and events.

The project included extensive mechanical and electrical upgrades, alongside improvements to the foyer and external façade, enhancing both the functionality and appearance of the building.

Delivered within a live school environment, the works required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to everyday school activities while maintaining a safe working environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The completed theatre has transformed the school's performing arts facilities, providing students with opportunities to participate in music, drama and creative productions. The space also supports wider community engagement, with facilities available for external theatre and cinema groups.
