LST Projects delivered a new 275m² extension at Warden Park School, providing purpose-built facilities for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The extension includes new classrooms, sensory rooms and supporting spaces, increasing the school's SEND provision to 32 places and creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The project included the following key works:
- Construction of a 275m² extension with dedicated SEND classrooms and sensory facilities.
- Integration with the existing school to improve accessibility and circulation.
- Installation of new heating, ventilation and photovoltaic (PV) systems to support energy efficiency.
- Careful coordination of construction activities around the school's timetable and examinations to minimise disruption.
Delivered within a live school environment, the project provides modern, purpose-built learning spaces that enhance the support available to students and staff.
Client Feedback
"From the very beginning, LST were really considerate about how this was going to work in a working school environment. The way they’ve managed the subcontractors and the various moving parts has been exemplary. I don’t think there’s anything they could have done to make this project go any better than it already has."
