We are proud to have delivered brand-new specialist facilities at Guillemont Junior School in Farnborough, designed to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This thoughtfully created extension addresses the growing demand for inclusive special education, providing children with ASC the opportunity to work both independently and alongside their mainstream peers.

The project builds on the school's existing provision for children with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). The new facilities include four dedicated teaching spaces, a bright and welcoming classroom, a small group room, a calming sensory room, and an inviting outdoor sensory garden. Each area has been carefully designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Natural light and ventilation were key considerations throughout the design, with rooflights creating bright, airy spaces that promote a sense of calm and focus.

The outdoor sensory garden, featuring interactive sensory elements, offers an ideal space for both learning and play, further enhancing the school’s inclusive learning experience.

We previously shared our excitement about this project back in November 2024, when the work was completed.

It’s been a privilege to contribute to Guillemont Junior School’s vision of providing a supportive and inspiring environment for every student.
