The project at Emmaus School involved the demolition of an existing lean-to structure and prefabricated classroom to the north-east of the site, followed by the delivery of new modular (MMC) teaching spaces, internal alterations and external improvements.

Delivered in two phases, Phase 1 included the construction of a new two-storey modular building, internal reconfiguration works, new canopies and ramps to existing entrances, installation of services, and the creation of a new playground and associated external works. Phase 2 comprised the addition of a modular lean-to extension to the rear of the existing building.

Refurbishment works to the existing school were carried out alongside the new build elements, with the modular approach enabling an efficient programme and minimising disruption to the live school environment.

The completed scheme delivers additional classroom capacity, improved accessibility and upgraded external areas, supporting the day-to-day operation of the school.

The enhanced facilities provide a more effective and comfortable environment for both staff and pupils.
